1.       Overview :

The solenoid valve is mainly used together with the gas alarm to shut off  the gas pipe when there is a gas leakage. It complies with the European GASTEC standard.

Normally, it is required to pull up the top plug (the red key) of solenoid valve manually, at this time, it allows the gas getting through. When there is a gas leakage, the gas alarm would send a pulse signal (12v DC) to shut off the valve automatically, then the gas leakage is stopped.  After the gas leaking problem solved, you have to pull up the plug manually when power off.

3.       Insallation :

The valve should be connected with the gas pipe

The white wire connects to the + terminate of the gas alarm 12v output, while the black wired connect to the (GND)
